About CallContext
This is my outlet for the experiences, discoveries and frustrations I have working as a .NET developer. The opinions expressed here are mine alone.
Hello, my name is Geoff Bennett. For the past 11 years or so, I have worked as a software developer in one way or another. I started in Delphi (2), of which I still have a little warm spot for. Over the years, I've written software in most versions of Visual Basic, ASP and more recently, ASP.NET and C#.
I really enjoy what I do, and have a passionate interest in getting better at it. I don't consider myself a master of my craft by any means, rather an eternal journeyman.
As I gain more experience, I hope to share it with whomever may take the time to read through the site.
Why CallContext? Well, in .NET development you use a CallContext when you want to pass information across app domain boundaries that relates to the current call. I figure, this blog is a way I can pass information across developers.
Thanks,
Geoff.
