We received an email from our ISP here at work today telling us about a new initiative started by the ACMA (Australian Communications and Media Authority) here in Australia with regards to spam messages. They want us to install the add-in from here into Outlook or Outlook Express and instead of clicking the delete button, click their button. It will send a copy of it to the ACMA then delete it. That way the ACMA can hunt down the spammers and kill them. Not kill them. Punish them. Harshly. Maybe kill them a little bit.

If you don't want to install the add-in, or you use an alternative mail client, you can use the tools here to report spam direcly to their website. I wonder how useful this will actually be. I don't think I'll be installing it. Just thought it was worth keeping track of it in the old BAS (Blog Attached Storage)...
